HDFC Bank’s US-listed shares dropped additional 9%, reaching their lowest point since July 2022

New Delhi: On Wednesday, HDFC Bank’s US-listed shares continued their decline, dropping an additional 9%. This came after shares in India experienced their most significant single-day decrease in three years.

The bank’s ADR fell by 9.1% overnight, marking its most substantial single-day drop since March 2020, closing at $55.59—the lowest level observed since July 2022. Over the past two trading sessions, HDFC Bank’s ADR has witnessed a total decline of 15%, with a 6.7% decrease recorded on Tuesday as well.
