Ram Lalla idol reaches sanctum sanctorum of Ayodhya temple

Ayodhya: Preparations for the grand welcome of Ramlala in Ayodhya are in full swing. Ahead of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony scheduled for 22nd January, a six-day series of events commenced on 16th January.

Today marks the third day of the program, initiating with formal rituals such as Ganesh Ambika Puja, Varun Puja, Matrika Puja, Brahmin Varan, and Vastu Puja. Ram Lalla was transported to the Ramjanmabhoomi complex on Wednesday, and today, he will be enshrined in the sanctum sanctorum.

The sculpted statue of Ram Lalla, crafted by sculptor Arun Yogiraj, will find its designated place within the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

In the evening, ceremonies including Tirtha Pujan, Jal Yatra, and Gandhadhivas will take place. The idol was introduced to the Ram temple complex on Wednesday evening. Simultaneously, Havan and other rituals are scheduled for tomorrow, i.e., on 19th January.
