ED attaches assets worth Rs 1.32 crore of former Punjab police cop in money laundering case

Chandigarh: Assets worth Rs 1.32 crore of a former Punjab police inspector Inderjit Singh for alleged corruption during the probe against a drug peddler have been attached under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) by Enforcement Directorate (ED).
    An interim order under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) was issued for attachment of a house and fixed deposits of Rs 32.42 lakh at Chheharta in Amritsar district in the course of investigation against former inspector Inderjit Singh, it said.
    The market value of the house is Rs 1 crore, it said in a statement.
