FIR against BJP leader in roof collapse incident at school in Ludhiana; magistrate inquiry ordered 

Ludhiana News: A BJP leader and contractor Anmol Katyal, an accused in roof collapse incident at Baddowal Eminence Government School in Punjab’s Ludhiana district, has been booked , police said. 
     A case under Section 304 of the IPC has been registered against Anmol at Mullanpur Dakha police station. Anmol is still on the run.
Police are conducting raids to arrest him. Anmol is well-known with senior Punjab BJP leaders. A teacher, Ravinder Kaur, was killed while Narinderjit Kaur, Sukhjit Kaur and Indu Rani were injured in the incident.
     Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Surabhi Malik has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the matter. The Education Department will also conduct an inquiry at its level. Contractor Anmol Katyal’s father Kala Katyal is a former BJP councillor in Jagraon. During the SAD-BJP government, they have been getting contracts for the construction of main roads of Jagraon.
