Navjot Sidhu appears through VC in Ludhiana court

Former Punjab Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu appeared before a Ludhiana court today through video conferencing in connection with the CLU (Change Land of Use) scam. 

Earlier on October 28 and Oct 21, his appearance in were postponed due to medically unfit.

The court of CJM Sumit Makkar has issued a production warrant and summoned Sidhu as a witness in the case of former Congress minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu. 

Sidhu’s testimony is to be filed in the case filed by former DSP Balwinder Singh Sekhon against former food supply minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu. Navjot Singh Sidhu, who is lodged in Patiala jail, had sought security ahead of his October 21 appearance in Ludhiana district.
