Nihang Singh killed in Muktsar
A Nihang Singh was fatally attacked with a rod by unidentified individuals at Halqa Gidderbaha in Punjab’s Muktsar district last night. The deceased, Nihang Singh Jasvir Singh Bagga, had been setting up langar by constructing a hut on Malout Road in Gidderbaha for the past few days, providing langar to passersby.
Last night, when two unknown individuals arrived, the aforementioned Nihangs offered them langar. Instead of accepting it, the unidentified individuals requested Nihang Singh to come outside.
Upon the Nihangs’ exit from their hut, these individuals launched a brutal attack, leading to the victim’s tragic death. Following the murder, the attackers fled, leaving behind the victim’s wife at their residence.
