NRI dies under mysterious circumstances in Jalandhar, police initiate murder investigation
Jalandhar News: An NRI from the UK was knocked down from the fourth floor of a building by some youths in BDA Colony (flats) near Pathankot bypass chowk in Jalandhar on Sunday night, police said. Due to which he died. The deceased has been identified as Charanchit Singh.
According to the information, the deceased NRI also had an argument with a teacher living on the third floor of the flat. The police have detained three accused and started interrogating them. The body of the deceased has also been sent for post-mortem.
Police of Police Station-8 have started investigation from the angle of murder. Charanjit had bought a flat on the fourth floor. According to sources, after the incident, the accused themselves took Charanjit to the hospital. The doctors there declared him dead as soon as he was brought dead. As soon as Charanjit’s death came to light, all the accused fled from the spot
