The fire broke out after an oil tanker overturned on the bridge near Khanna National Highway bus stand today. This led to a jam on the entire National Highway and people agreed.
An Indian Oil tanker loaded with oil from Jalandhar was on its way to Gobindgarh petrol pump. No casualties have been reported in the incident. Fire brigade teams rushed to the spot and doused the flames. The fire was brought under control in half an hour.
