Patiala youth shot dead in US by unidentified assailants during robbery attempt
Patiala News: A youth from Talwandi village of Samana in Patiala was shot dead in California, USA. Karanvir Singh went to America two years ago to earn a living. There he worked in a store. He was shot dead by miscreants who came with the intention of robbery.
According to the family, he was shot three times.
Family of the deceased demanded from the government that Karan’s wife and her son be sent to the US for the funeral. Karanvir’s parents have already passed away.
Spent 50 lakh to go to United States
Karan’s wife Navneet Kaur said that Karanvir had spent Rs 50 lakh by selling his own land to go abroad. He had been working there for two years. Given the condition of the house, he used to work overtime and used to talk to the family on phone but he didn’t call in the past two days. Later, they got to know about this tragic news from his friends over the phone.
