Woman elopes with boyfriend after giving sleeping pills, 11-month-old daughter dies in Amritsar
Amritsar: In Amritsar, a woman quarreled with her husband and eloped with her lover. Before leaving, she gave the entire family with sleeping pills in the dinner. After her escape, the health of her 11-month-old daughter deteriorated. Sadly, the innocent child passed away during treatment.
This incident occurred in Kakkar village under the jurisdiction of Lopoke police station. Hira Singh recounted the quarrel he had with his wife. Last night, his wife Laxmi Kaur fled after administering narcotic pills to the entire family. As the family slept under the influence of the sleeping pills, they awoke to find Nimrat, their 11-month-old daughter, in declining health.
Immediate medical attention was sought, but Nimrat passed away during treatment. Consequently, the family brought the girl’s body to the police station, seeking justice.
