Former US President Trump found guilty of sexual harassment, fined $5 million
New York: A federal jury in Manhattan has found former President Donald Trump guilty of sexually assaulting and defaming author E. Jean Carroll in 1996.
The court has imposed a fine of $5 million on Trump. The court’s decision could affect Trump’s bid for the 2024 presidential election.
The court said Caroll had failed to prove that Trump had raped her.
