US: 20 injured, one in critical condition in Texas hotel explosion

Fort Worth (USA): At least 21 people were injured, one of them seriously, in an explosion at a historic hotel in Fort Worth, Texas, today, police said.

The entire portion of the door and wall of the 20-storey hotel collapsed on the road due to the blast.

At the same time, rescue teams found many people trapped in the basement, when the explosion took place, more than two dozen rooms of the Sandman Signature Hotel were filled with guests.

Officials believe that the explosion was caused by a gas leak and construction work is going on in the hotel.
