Bengaluru CEO kills 4-year-old son in Goa, stuffed body in bag while fleeing to Karnataka

New Delhi: A heart-wrenching incident has unfolded in the Calangute area of North Goa, where a mother brutally murdered her four-year-old son. The motive behind this tragic act was her desire to prevent the child from meeting his father.

The accused mother, identified as Suchana Seth, holds the position of CEO in an AI startup in Bengaluru and was arrested by the police on Monday (January 8).

The sequence of events involved the accused initially killing her son in Goa and then placing his lifeless body in a bag as she attempted to flee to Bengaluru. The Karnataka Police apprehended her during this attempt. Following a search of Suchana’s bag in Chitradurga, the police discovered the child’s body, leading to her arrest. The Karnataka Police are currently interrogating the accused woman.

According to information from the Goa police, the crime was committed to prevent the son from meeting his ex-husband. Suchana Seth had married her ex-husband in 2010 and gave birth to their son in 2019. However, due to a marital dispute, the couple divorced in 2020, with the court decreeing that the child’s father could meet him every Sunday—an arrangement that left Suchana deeply dissatisfied.
