Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday announced a major organisational reshuffle in Punjab, appointing Jagrup Singh Sekhwan as the party’s new Punjab vice-president as part of its efforts to strengthen the organisation ahead of upcoming political challenges.
The party also named new constituency in-charges for the Jalandhar North, Fatehgarh Churian and Patti Assembly segments.
AAP issued an official notification announcing the appointments and congratulated the newly appointed office-bearers.

According to the party, the organisational changes are aimed at further strengthening its structure across the state and enhancing grassroots outreach.
The party leadership said it expects Sekhwan’s appointment as state vice-president to provide fresh momentum to organisational activities and boost the morale of party workers in Punjab.
