New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with ministers of state (MoS) on Monday evening as part of his ongoing performance review of the Union government.
The meeting comes after Modi held similar review sessions with senior Cabinet ministers and later with central government secretaries. He is now expected to assess the work being carried out by ministers of state in their respective departments.
The meeting has been scheduled at Seva Teerth and is being viewed as part of preparations ahead of a possible reshuffle of the Council of Ministers.
The government is also considering a special session of Parliament in the third week of September. A change in ministerial responsibilities or a broader Cabinet reshuffle could follow the session, according to the report.
