New Delhi: Punjab cricketer Arshdeep Singh wished his girlfriend Samreen Kaur on her 27th birthday on Monday with a special social media post.
Sharing around eight pictures with Samreen on Instagram, Arshdeep wrote, “Happy birthday meri jaan, meri crazy, smart, mature and beautiful partner.”
The post has drawn attention because Arshdeep has, for the first time, openly used terms such as “meri jaan” and “partner” for Samreen on social media. The couple had earlier fuelled dating rumours for around four months before Arshdeep shared two pictures with her with the caption “My Person”, seemingly confirming their relationship.
Their families, however, have so far remained tight-lipped about the relationship.
Couple gets matching tattoos
Arshdeep and Samreen recently got matching tattoos featuring each other’s initials. The tattoos were reportedly made on September 5-6 at Aliens Tattoo Studio in Bengaluru, designed by artist Sunny Sen and designer Abhishek Gawai.
Arshdeep has “SK”, Samreen’s initials, tattooed on his arm, while Samreen has “AS”, Arshdeep’s initials, on hers.
Adding a personal touch, both chose to have the initials written in each other’s handwriting—Arshdeep’s “SK” is in Samreen’s handwriting, while Samreen’s “AS” is in Arshdeep’s.
