Chandigarh: Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann is likely to hold a press conference or issue a video message soon amid Union home minister Amit Shah’s visit to the state.
Mann, who had travelled to France, returned from abroad earlier on Tuesday. In the morning, he announced the decision to hand over the investigation into the murder of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhotta in Mansa to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
His possible address comes as Shah visits Punjab to meet the families of people who died after allegedly raising their voices against drug trafficking.
