Chandigarh: The Punjab government will organise the state-level ‘Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojana’ programme on August 1 at White Medical College, Mamoon, in Pathankot, with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann set to attend as the chief guest.

Ahead of the event, the district administration has stepped up preparations to ensure its smooth conduct.

Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Dr Pallavi, a high-level review meeting was convened and chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Arshdeep Singh to assess arrangements for the programme.

During the meeting, Arshdeep Singh directed officials from all departments to work in close coordination and ensure timely completion of their assigned responsibilities.

He warned that no negligence or laxity would be tolerated in the preparations for the state-level event and instructed all departmental heads to complete their duties efficiently and within the stipulated timeline.

The administration said detailed arrangements are being put in place to ensure the successful organisation of the programme, which is expected to witness the participation of senior government officials and beneficiaries from across the state.
