Mumbai: The investigation into the firing at actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Mumbai has revealed an alleged weapons supply link to Amritsar, with two women suspected of transporting a pistol and 20 cartridges by train to the city, according to police.

The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested four people for their alleged role in supplying the weapons. Police identified the accused as Kunal, 21, and Sumit, 19, both from Sonipat in Haryana, and Radha, 23, and Babita, 23, from Uttar Pradesh.

According to investigators, Kunal and Sumit allegedly procured a pistol and 20 cartridges from Amritsar on the instructions of Anil Pandit, a suspected member of the Lawrence gang.

The weapons were then allegedly transported to Mumbai by Radha and Babita. Police said the supply module was linked to the Lawrence gang.

The investigation is continuing to establish the roles of those involved in the alleged weapons supply and its connection to the firing incident.
