AAP MP Raghav Chadha moves Delhi High Court against Supreme Court order

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has approached the High Court to save the government bungalow. Recently, the Patiala House Court had ordered him to vacate the Type 7 bungalow. Now Rajya Sabha MPs have reached the High Court against the decision of Patiala House Court.
Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha has challenged the trial court’s decision to quash the interim order in the Delhi High Court. The petition was listed for hearing before a bench comprising Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Sanjeev Narula, which agreed to list it on Wednesday.
Chadha’s counsel said a notice has been served to the Member of Parliament and proceedings to vacate the bungalow are underway. He had earlier said that the stay was imposed by the trial court but it has now been lifted.
