After facing backlash, Nitish Kumar apologises for controversial remarks
Punjab E News: The Bihar chief minister had made controversial comment while stressing the importance of education among women to control the population, which is being fiercely criticized. Now Nitish Kumar has apologized for his comment. “If my remarks are being condemned so much and my statement is wrong, then I am withdrawing my statement. I am apologizing for my comment.”
In the Assembly too, the Bihar CM apologized for his remarks. The BJP has attacked Nitish Kumar for his remarks. The National Commission for Women (NCW) on Tuesday “strongly condemned” Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s remarks on the importance of women’s education for population control and demanded an apology from him.
