Case registered against Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat for ‘Ravan’ remark against Rajasthan CM

Jaipur: A case has been registered against Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for his remarks against Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot during a recent rally in Rajasthan’s Chittorgarh. This information was given by police sources today.

The FIR was lodged on the basis of a complaint filed by Congress leader and former MLA Surender Singh Jadawat.
Speaking at the BJP’s Jan Akrosh rally in Chittorgarh, Shekhawat had allegedly called Gehlot the “Ravan of politics in Rajasthan” and warned the people to establish Ram Rajya in the state. “I had lodged a complaint against Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat tonight for using such foul language against the Rajasthan chief minister. He had tried to incite religious sentiments while addressing a BJP rally.”
