Five people burnt alive after bus-car collision on Yamuna Expressway

Mathura: A horrific accident has been reported on the Yamuna Expressway on Monday. A bus collided with the divider uncontrollably, due to which a car coming from behind rammed into the bus.

During the accident, there was a fierce fire in the bus and car. In this fire, 5 people died due to burns alive. The incident took place at Milestone 117 in Mahavan police station area of Mathura.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shailesh Pandey said, “Five people have died in the road accident on Yamuna Expressway. The incident took place when a bus travelling from Agra to Noida rammed into a divider after losing control and then a car also rammed into the bus, setting both the vehicles on fire.”

The passengers managed to escape but the occupants of the car were charred to death after they were injured, police said.
