India beat Pakistan by 7 wickets in the World Cup
Ahmedabad News: In the ongoing World Cup, India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in the mega match played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday to strengthen their claim for the semi-finals seat.
Captain Rohit Sharma (86) and Shreyas Iyer (53 not out) put a formality stamp on the victory. Both of them added 77 runs for the third wicket. When Rohit got out, Iyer took over the responsibility of playing the Pakistani band.
India defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets in 30.3 overs. Jasprit Bumrah was named Man of the Match.
