Kanjhawala incident: Anjali was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident, viscera report reveals

New Delhi: Anjali, a victim of a road accident in Delhi’s Kanjhawala area on the intervening night of December 31 and January 1, was under the influence of alcohol when the accident took place.

In fact, the Delhi Police had preserved Anjali’s viscera after the post-mortem conducted after her death. The viscera was later given to the Rohini-based Forensic Science Lab for examination.
The lab had submitted Anjali’s viscera report to a senior Delhi Police officer on January 24. In the same report, it has been revealed that Anjali was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
