NIA arrests two main accused in Bangalore cafe blast from Kolkata

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested two accused, including the mastermind of the Rameshwaram Cafe blast in Bangalore.

According to officials, Musavir Hussain Shazib and Adbul Mateen Ahmed Taha were traced to their hideout near Kolkata and arrested by the NIA team. Officials said Shazib is the person who had planted the IED in the café and is about to plan and execute the Taha blast.

The agency managed to trace the absconding accused near Kolkata this morning where they were hiding with fake identities.

The NIA had last month announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh each for information leading to the arrest of the two accused.
