“No relation with Congress”: Mamata Banerjee to contest alone in West Bengal

New Delhi: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has unequivocally stated that her party will independently contest the state elections, emphasizing its lack of affiliation with the Congress. She aims to contest all seats in West Bengal, leading to her decision to refrain from forming an alliance with the Congress.

Although there was a desire in Mamata Banerjee’s mind to emerge as the face of the opposition alliance, no one proposed her name, and her frequent visits to Delhi proved unsuccessful.
