PM Modi to give bonanza of Rs 14,345 crore to Punjab today 

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give a gift of Rs 14,345 crore to Punjab on Monday. A 13-km elevated highway from Samrala Chowk to Ludhiana corporation limits will be inaugurated on March 11 at a cost of Rs 939 crore, BJP state general secretary Anil Sarin said.

The Malout to Abohar Sadhuwali section, Highway No. 62 and 7, costing Rs 918 crore, will be inaugurated. Their length is 65 kilometers.

The 22.5 km long Malout-Mandi Dabwali National Highway No. 9 constructed at a cost of Rs 367 crore, the 4-lane railway overbridge near Nangal on the Sutlej river constructed at a cost of Rs 124 crore, the 75.167 km long ROB project of NH-703B, the project on EPC mode at a cost of Rs 327 crore will be inaugurated.

This includes rehabilitation and renovation of 2 lanes from Moga to Makhu and Harike to Khalda. The cost of all these projects is Rs 2675.
