“Politics of fundamentalism more important for them”: BJP attacks after Congress turns down invitation to Ram temple inaugural

Preparations for the consecration of Ram Lalla on the 22nd in the Ram temple located in Ayodhya are in full swing. Many prominent figures, including Prime Minister Modi, are expected to attend this event.
The Shri Ram Mandir Trust has extended invitations to various political parties and notable personalities to join the consecration program. Despite invitations extended to several opposition parties, including the primary opposition Congress, recent reports indicate that the Congress has declined to participate in the event.
Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sudhanshu Trivedi has criticized the Congress party for this decision, stating that their refusal to attend the Pran Pratishtha program of Ram Lalla reflects opposition within the Congress to Indian culture, Hindu religion, and Hindutva.
Notably, Iqbal Ansari, who was involved in the Babri Masjid side in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi case, has been invited, along with those who were part of the demolition, and they are willing to attend—an act in accordance with the inclusive tradition of Hinduism.
Trivedi said that the Congress and its affiliated parties seem ready to raise objections, primarily for a few hardline votes, despite the diverse and inclusive spirit evident in the event.
