Priyanka meets protesting wrestlers, accused the government of shielding Brij Bhushan
New Delhi: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra today met wrestlers sitting on a dharna demanding action against Wrestling Federation of India president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and expressed her support, alleging that the central government has succumbed to the powerful and mafia. She also alleged that the government was protecting Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
The Congress general secretary said Brij Bhushan should first be removed from his post.
Before campaigning in Karnataka, Priyanka met the protesting wrestlers for some time and sat with them and discussed the matter.
