Sedition case filed against Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut for writing objectionable article against PM Modi

The Yavatmal police have registered a case against Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut under sedition and other charges for writing an objectionable article about Prime Minister Narendra Modi in party mouthpiece ‘Saamana’.
The case was registered on the basis of a complaint lodged by BJP’s Yavatmal district coordinator Nitin Bhutara against Raut, a Rajya Sabha member. Raut is the executive editor of ‘Saamana’.
In the complaint, Bhutara claimed that Raut had written an objectionable article against Prime Minister Modi on December 10.
