Home Minister in Chandigarh slams Rahul Gandhi, accuses him of making video on Vice President’s mimicry
In Chandigarh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted Rahul Gandhi without naming him. The Home Minister said that leaders of the oldest party in the country are making videos mimicking the Vice President, which he views as the biggest insult to the nation. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the dignity of the post held by the Vice President. Consequently, he believes that the repeated defeat of the Congress party in elections is due to this behavior.
In Chandigarh, the Home Minister announced a new bill presented in the Lok Sabha. This bill aims to ensure people receive justice within 3 years in cases of crime. It is slated for implementation in various states, including Chandigarh. The Minister expressed disappointment that the Congress did not participate in debating this bill and instead boycotted Parliament, hinting at their anticipation of losing the 2024 election.
The Minister swiftly inaugurated 25 new Tata Safari vehicles for the police and projects totaling Rs 375 crore. Security measures for his visit include deployment of around 3,000 policemen, including separate police staff. His program took place at the Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology in Sector 26, Chandigarh, where he inaugurated the mentioned projects worth Rs 375 crore.
