Jalandhar police encounter: Gangster of Kaushal Chaudhary gang shot dead
An encounter occurred between the police and miscreants in Jandiala, Jalandhar. During the exchange of fire between both parties, a member of the Kaushal Chaudhary gang, Davinder, was shot.
According to the police, Davinder Singh had previously fired at a travel agent at Delta Towers near the bus stand and demanded extortion a day earlier. He was associated with Haryana gangster Kaushal Chaudhary.
Upon seeing the police, Davinder fled the scene and fired at them while retreating. Subsequently, the police returned fire, resulting in Davinder sustaining a leg injury and falling. The police have confiscated his bike and gun, and Davinder has been admitted to the hospital in an injured state.
