Punjab E News (PEN News): Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon has strongly condemned the reported attack on Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal at Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib in Nanded.
Reacting to the incident, Dhillon said he was deeply concerned after hearing about the attack and prayed for Sukhbir Singh Badal’s speedy recovery and Chardi Kala.
Kewal Singh Dhillon Condemns Violence at Religious Place
Kewal Singh Dhillon said that violence has no place in any society or democracy. He stressed that such an incident should never take place, particularly at the sacred Takht Sahib.
He said that the holy land of Sri Hazur Sahib conveys the message of peace, service, Simran and the welfare of humanity. According to Dhillon, a violent incident at such a sacred religious place is extremely unfortunate and condemnable.
BJP Leader Calls for Protection of Gurdwara Sanctity
The Punjab BJP chief emphasised that the sanctity of religious places and a peaceful environment must be protected at all costs.
His statement came amid widespread political reactions to the reported attack on Sukhbir Singh Badal in Nanded, with leaders across political parties condemning violence and expressing concern over the incident.
