Lok Sabha Election 2024: Shiv Sena UBT announces 16 candidates, see list of names

Mumbai: In Maharashtra, Shiv Sena UBT has released the first list of 16 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has shared a post on his social media handle announcing the names of 16 candidates.

“With the blessings of Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray and orders of Shiv Sena party chief Shri Uddhavji Thackeray, the names of 17 candidates will be announced soon. At present, the list of 16 candidates has been released,” he said.

These candidates got tickets:

Buldhana-Narendra Khedkar

Mumbai South – Arvind Sawant

Parbhani – Sanjay Jadhav

Yavatmal Washim as Sanjay Deshmukh

Sangli – Chandrahar Patil

Hingoli – Nagesh Patil

Sambhaji Nagar – Chandrakar Khaire

Shirdi – Bhausaheb

Nashik – Rajabhau Waze

Rajgarh – Anant Geete

Sindhudurg – Ratnagiri – Vinayak Raut

Thane – Rajan Vichare

Mumbai North East – Sanjay Dina Patil

Mumbai South – Amol Kirtikar

Parbhani – Sanjay Jadhav

Amol Kirtikar has got a ticket from Mumbai South and Sanjay Nirupam was also demanding a ticket from the same seat.

Voting will be held in 7 phases

The voting process for the General Election 2024 will be completed in 7 phases. Voting will begin on April 19 and end on June 1. The counting of votes will take place on June 4. After 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra has the highest number of 48 seats.
