AAP gains control of Moga Municipal Corporation
Moga News: Days after Moga MLA Amandeep Kaur Arora had moved the no-confidence motion with the signature of 42 councillors, the Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday took control of the Moga MC as the incumbent mayor Congress’ Nitika Bhalla failed to prove her majority. She was elected as the first female mayor of Moga in 2021.
As many as 42 out of the 50 councillors signed the no-confidence motion, which was submitted to the MC joint commissioner.
