Punjab News: Former AIG of Punjab Police Rajjit Singh has got a big relief in the vigilance case today. Justice Anup Chitkara of the Punjab and Haryana High Court granted him interim relief and stayed his arrest in the vigilance case. The next hearing of the case will be on October 16.
Earlier, the Supreme Court had also stayed the arrest of former AIG Rajjit Singh in the drugs case. The high court’s decision in Rajjit’s case is being seen as a major setback for the Punjab government.
