Chandigarh: The temporary restrictions imposed on the sale of petrol and diesel have been lifted due to the ongoing strike by fuel-tanker drivers at City Beautiful Chandigarh. With this, the supply of oil/fuel has now been restored.
The District Magistrate Chandigarh who had earlier issued directions to restrict fuel transactions has withdrawn the above restrictions with immediate effect.
This development is being carried out in the UT with the coordinated efforts of oil marketing companies and Punjab and Haryana. This is as part of efforts to resume fuel supply.
