CM Mann hits out at Punjab Governor Purohit, terms him power hungry; says will reply to his all letters
Chandigarh News: A day after Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit threatened to impose President’s rule in the state. He has also warned of action against Chief Minister Mann, the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann hit out at Governor.
Addressing a press conference, CM Mann said that it is condemnable that Governor threatening Punjab to impose President rules as following directions from the Centre.
He denied the allegations of governor of deteriorating law and order situation and said that the government has cracked whip on notorious criminals.
Mann questioned that why the Haryana government had not written letter to the state government there for communal clash in the state as it was governed by the BJP. Even the Manipur governor had not issued any statement till now.
CM said that Punjab Governor is power hungry and acting on the tunes of the Centee government to deter the progress of the AAP government in Punjab. He said that his government will reply to all letters written by the Governor very soon.
