ED attaches AAP MLA’s assets worth Rs 35.10 crore in money laundering case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken action against Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra, an MLA who claimed to take a salary of one rupee after becoming the MLA of Aam Atma Party from Amargarh, Punjab. 
      The ED has attached assets worth Rs 35.10 crore of Gajjanmajra’s company. This action has been taken in the money laundering case related to bank loans.
      According to the ED, the property of Tara Corporation Company located in Malerkotla, Gajjanmajra has been attached. According to the ED, the loan amount has been transferred from Tara Corporation Limited to various firms. 
      It was then integrated into Tara Health Food Limited and another subsidiary Tara Sales Limited. The ED said the money received in Tara Health Foods Ltd was used for purposes other than obtaining loans.
