Encounter between Jalandhar police and Lawrence Bishnoi gang; one cop injured, two arrested

Jalandhar: An encounter took place between police and some miscreants near Nakha Wale Bagh in Jalandhar, Punjab. It is reported that a policeman has been shot in the incident. As soon as the incident was reported, senior officers of Jalandhar City Police have moved to the crime scene.

According to the information, early morning Encounter between Jalandhar Commissionerate Police and Gangsters and two members of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang arrested in heavy cross fire with Police.

Both gangsters are critically injured and rushed to hospital. They both were involved in murder, extortion, contract killing and drug smuggling, said CP Swapan Sharma.
