Former SAD minister’s IAS daughter-in-law with husband join BJP, likely to contest from Bathinda

Chandigarh: Gurpreet Maluka, son of Sikander Singh Maluka, who was a minister in the Akali Dal government in Punjab, and IAS daughter-in-law have joined the BJP.

IAS officer Parampal Kaur resigned a few days ago. She may be the BJP’s candidate in the coming Lok Sabha elections. In 2015, she was promoted from PCS to IAS cadre. She has worked in many important positions in Punjab.
