Jalandhar DC meets farmers, urges them to protect environment
Jalandhar News: Making a direct contact with farmers at the ground, Jalandhar Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal has held a meeting with farmers at Rurka Kalan in Phillaur sub division of the district on Monday.
DC urged farmers to come forward to take care of natural resources. He asked the farmers to use subsidised machinery for disposal of stubble
He also directed the officials to the fields and inspect the disposal of stubble. He said that Additional Deputy Commissioners posted as Nodal Officers in Phillaur, Nakodar and Shahkot.
