MoD makes tableau designs public, no photos of Bhagwant Mann, Arvind Kejriwal included; CM Mann hits out at Sunil Jakhar
After the Ministry of Defence (MoD) publicly disclosed the tableau designs submitted by the Punjab government for Republic Day 2024, notably lacking any photos of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann or AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, CM Mann criticized Punjab BJP Chief Sunil Jakhar for his baseless allegations.
In a tweet, CM Mann wrote, “Sunil Jakhar ji, How will you face the people of Punjab. On January 26, instead of standing in favour of Punjab at the behest of the BJP, you levelled false and absurd allegations against Arvind Kejriwal and me. Now even the Ministry of Defense has made it clear… Punjabis will never forgive you.”
Earlier, the designs submitted by various states, UTs and government departments have been put online by MoD to invite opinions of the public on the tableau design. The MoD had rejected the designs of the Punjab government.
