Punjab E News: Punjab Police is conducting Operation Satark in jails across Punjab today. All senior officers of Punjab Police are personally reaching the jails and checking the jails. Operation Satark was also carried out in Patiala jail today.
This search operation is being conducted in connection with the drug trade and mobile phones running in the jails of Punjab. This operation will run from 12 noon to 3 pm. IG Range Patiala Mukhinder Singh Chhina, ADGP Law and Order Arpit Shukla and ADGP Jail Arunpal Singh are conducting searches in Patiala jail.
