Punjab reports 321 covid-19 cases, 2 deaths, 6 in critical condition

Punjab News: Corona has again gained momentum in Punjab. On Thursday, two people died of corona in the state, while 321 new cases were reported. With this, the rate of corona infection has increased to 7.09 percent.

The number of active covid cases has also increased to 1092. Of these, 19 patients are on oxygen and the condition of five remains critical.
According to media reports, the highest number of 68 cases of Covid-19 were reported in Mohali on Thursday as well. This was followed by 31 in Ludhiana, 27 in Bathinda, 24 in Fazilka, 22 in Patiala, 19 in Amritsar, 18 in Jalandhar, 16 in Ferozepur, 14 in Sangrur, 13 in Pathankot, 11 in Muktsar, 10 in Hoshiarpur, eight in Ropar, seven each in Barnala and Mansa, six in Gurdaspur, five each in Faridkot and Moga, five each in Faridkot and Moga.
Three cases have been reported in SBS Nagar, one each in Kapurthala, Malerkotla and Tarn Taran.
Meanwhile, one Covid-infected patient each died in Jalandhar and Moga. On the other hand, a total of 4929 samples were taken and 4525 samples were also tested for Covid in different districts of Punjab on Thursday.
