SGPC expresses displeasure over Governor for not giving time for meeting 

Punjab E News: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), through a resolution during the general session, alleged that the Governor was not giving time for a meeting in the matter of sending 26 lakh forms filled by the SGPC to the President for the release of bandi Singhs. 
       The session demanded the Central government to immediately consider the case of Balwant Singh Rajoana and commute his death sentence to life imprisonment.
      During the session yesterday, several important resolutions related to Sikh issues were passed, which were approved by the members present in the echo of slogans. Apart from the release of Bandi Singh, the resolutions also announced to simplify the process of making the sgpc’s votes, end the discrimination against the Punjabi language, demand the preservation of Sikh heritage in Pakistan and stand in favor of Punjab’s waters.
