SHO suspended in Mansa for going to gurudwara under inebriated condition

Chandigarh: The Station House Officer (SHO) of Boha town in Mansa has been suspended for allegedly entering Gurudwara Sahib under the influence of alcohol, assaulting and verbally abusing the servitors.

The Gurdwara management staged a sit-in, expressing their anger and terming the SHO’s actions as sacrilege.

Subsequently, DSP Gurpreet Singh Gill arrived at the scene, assessed the situation, and assured the community that necessary actions would be taken to address the incident. He conveyed that appropriate measures would be taken against the SHO based on the complaint.

Following this, the SSP of Mansa officially suspended the SHO of Boha. Gurdwara Management Committee Gurdwara President Bhura Singh and Gurtej Singh reported that around midnight, the SHO and his team entered the gurdwara without explanation, scaling the wall, and physically assaulted them while using inappropriate language.
