People are rejecting corrupt policies of traditional parties and are impressed by the leadership of Bhagwant Mann who is working to make Punjab ‘Rangla’ again, says Cheema

Punjab E News: The family of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is getting bigger and stronger in Doaba ahead of Jalandhar by-poll. On Monday, a large number of Shiromani Akali Dal leaders left their traditional party and joined the AAP. All new members were inducted to the AAP family by senior AAP leader and Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema on the behalf of AAP Punjab President CM Bhagwant Mann and AAP’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal.

Jalandhar by election update

  During this joining program Harpal Cheema was accompanied by MLA Santosh Kataria, Master Prem Singh, MLA Gurlal Singh Ghanaur, Narinder Singh Shergill, Amandeep Singh Mohi and other AAP office bearers. They all officially welcomed the new members of the AAP.

  Jathedar Mulkha Singh, SAD circle president, former block committee member, numberdar of village Haripur Khalsa, former sarpanch of Beghampura Harkamal Singh, distt president of transport wing, former sarpanch and circle president of youth wing Balkar Singh, Rupowal’s sarpanch Sarinder Singh, Senior vice president of Punjab youth wing Baljinder Singh Laddi, general secretary of youth wing Paramjeet Singh, youth wing secretary Gurdeep Singh Deepa, Sarpanch of Khelan Girdawar Singh, Sarpanch of Meowal Nirmal Singh, youth wing Circle president (urban) Sukhwinder Singh, senior akali leaders Gurnek Singh, Makhan Singh, Kulwinder Singh, Charanjit Singh, Gurmukh Singh Laddi (circle vice president), Gurchetan Singh, Mohan Singh, Gurmukh Singh, Mukhtiar Singh, Gurpreet Singh and Gurnam Singh were the prominent leader of Phillaur who joined the Aam Aadmi Party.

  On this occasion, Harpal Singh Cheema welcomed all these leaders and assured them that they’ll get respect and responsibilities from the party. He said that people of every section, political background and social workers are joining the AAP. He added that people are leaving traditional parties like Akali Dal because of their anti-people policies and the leaders of all political parties are impressed by the leadership of CM Bhagwant Mann who is working tirelessly for Punjab. He said that the people of Jalandhar will defeat the dynast politics and the Aam Aadmi Party candidate Sushil Kumar Rinku is going to win this by-election.
