Air India upgrades Amritsar-London Gatwick and Birmingham flights with Boeing 777-300ER

Amritsar: Air India has upgraded its non-stop flights from Amritsar to London Gatwick and Birmingham by deploying the larger Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on both routes, replacing the smaller Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. The move significantly increases passenger capacity and introduces First Class service on these routes for the first time.

The upgraded aircraft also offers enhanced Business Class cabins, improved onboard amenities and Wi-Fi connectivity, providing passengers with a more comfortable travel experience.

The Boeing 777-300ER features eight First Class suites with sliding privacy doors, 40 fully flat Business Class beds and 280 Economy Class seats.

In comparison, the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner previously operating on these routes had 28 Business Class seats and 241 Economy Class seats.
